Judge Hernan D. Vera is currently a District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He served as a Judge of the Los Angeles County, California, Superior Court from 2020 to 2023. He was appointed to the SJI Board of Directors in 2010 and served until 2023.
